Story: This is one of the stories I reported as part of my coverage of the trial of former interior minister of The Gambia, Ousman Sonko in Switzerland. Ousman Sonko was on trial for crimes against humanity. This particular report captures the key defining moments of the trial. Throughout the investigations and the trial, Sonko denied ever owning a note Swiss authorities found in his suitcase. This particular note contains confessions that corroborate the prosecution's investigations, mainly on the April 2016 protests by the United Democratic Party leading to the death of one of their prominent figures, Solo Sandeng.
