Kebba Jeffang is a multiple award winner in The Gambia. Joined media in 2013 with Foroyaa Newspaper, he mainly covered legal, political, and human interest issues.

He later joined The Chronicle in 2019 and later became business reporter, mainly profiling young rising entrepreneurs in the country.

In 2020, Jeffang joined the country's premier investigative journalism outlet – Malagen. 

Ahead of the 2021 presidential election, he became the head of the Media Monitoring and Fact-checking Unit to counter information disorder and hate speech especially during the past electoral cycle 

He also works for several international news agencies, and currently serving as West Africa Regional Editor of London-based environment and climate change news outlet called China Dialogue.

He’s a prominent press freedom advocate in the Gambia having served as the president of Young Journalists Association of The Gambia (YJAG) and an executive board member of the Gambia Press Union (GPU).
